Today’s lunch proved to be a monumental time in my life. Ok that’s a little dramatic, but I got to hold in my hand my cell phone after being apart from it since February 1st. I will admit that I kind of missed it, but life continued even after I gave up my phone. It may have not been the best week to not have a phone with the weather being what it was, and yes, I only got stuck in the snow once and had no way to get out since I couldn’t call anyone. I realized just how dependent on something I was, and I think I will be less dependent on it starting now. It’s crazy just how connected cell phones keep us to everyone. I felt disconnected from all of my friends and family this past week. I had to resort to email….not the fastest way of communication. Overall, I learned a good lesson and am happy I went on this journey, but it is very nice to have my phone back.
